Well I think thats what they are called. I am looking for the things that help hold the window open, I presume they are universal, but if they are not I have a bailey Ranger and need a couple to replace over tightened broken ones! and advice where to get them from would be great :)
------------- Never forget with a PinzyMe. Print it, embrace it, share it!
I call them struts which are the same as a car but for caravans they call them window stays. There are different types but below are selection to choose from.
We have a Bailey Ranger and we bought the repair kits for the window stays, here;-

An easy job but I did have to saw the old plastic parts off to get at the metal pin that goes through the plastic bit.
Hi Pig farmer changed one on one of my past vans. first measure when fully open, then measure when fully closed this is critical due to various lenghts. remove all screws out of brackets, then examine smaller diameter tube where fits on bracket you will find if held the right way it will click off bracket. If only clamp is knackered you will be able to remove easily once smaller tube is unclipped. fit new clamp, reclip screw back to window frame. about 3/4 hr including cup of tea dont forget to get wife to wipe sweat of brow PS dont lift window past horizontal postion as it is likely to fall out of open top hinge and bounce of your head .If window is dead flat easy to replace BUT if curved it,s a right B%$*%;D to re-hinge as have to bend it as well as re-hook. Best with two of you one each side
On our Bailey Ranger, I just removed the strut completely, top and bottom.
I actually used a Dremel with a cutting blade to (carefully) cut away the old plastic collar to get at the steel pin that fits the groove on the smaller leg of the stay.
Cutting away that collar is the longest part of the job.
While the stay was out, I supported the window with a length of wood so that there was no strain on the other stay.
