Just been out to grab something from the 'van and found a ten foot long piece of wood and a brick round the back of the van (van is kept just off the pavement with only a low fence for cover). Then happened to notice an odd patch on the rear top part of the roof, where it starts to curve to the actual roof. On closer inspection I saw it is damage :( See pic...
Not sure if the brick and wood are related but all a little odd. Suspect some of the local trouble kids have caused the damage :(
Saying that, there appears to be maybe some bubbling in the paint!?
Anyway. Anyone have any advice on best repair? Some of the dings appear to be a few millimetre deep.
Bit more reading suggests it might be caused by damp from the inside! Eek. Van is still under no quibble warranty, so will be calling the dealer tomorrow.
After the leak is fixed...Does anyone know if the panel can be repaired successfully? Or will a proper, sound fix mean a new roof? (Don't want the dealer to fob me off)
