Hi,
Have found a small damp patch on the offside front of my Lunar Zenith 6 which extends up the pillar about 150mm above the shelf.
On checking for water ingress I found nothing external to suggest a problem and then discovered I had left a small sponge/squeegee which had got stuck under the offside front panel in the boot and this appears to have been wicking from the sponge and caused the damp.
This panel appears to be about 15mm deep and doesn't seem to be as thick as the rest of the side panels in the van, doesn't feel like wood just some form of laminate, does anyone know where I can purchase some of this panelling to replace the rotten bit? Also, is it just within the boot or does it extends through into the van? It looks like it is a small section put there to provide support on the front shelf within and to provide something to screw the bulkhead brackets into. When checking under the offside front storage from within, all appears to be OK.
I have been through the Wizards Caravan Repair site to no avail, anyone got any ideas please?
Thanks,
Niall.
