Hi, i have had a Rapido folding caravan left to me. I want to be able to use it but i cannot get the electrics to work from the leisure batter (new battery). I have a 110 plug in the top of the wardrobe that i have to plug in but this still will not let me us the lights in the caravan. Beneath one of the beds is a transformer and a fuse box with short fat fuses - could this be anything to do with it? Can anybody assist or tell me how to rewire it please.

hi celticheart lights are probly 12volt and is there any switches any were .

110volt plug??   Should be a 240volt blue one?

Is the battery fully charged? Inline fuses blown?

Do you have a ZIG control panel? Set the switches to on?

Lights are usually 12 and will run off the battery without the need for mains.

The fridge will need gas or mains.

In my Rapido the plug is a male 12N trailer wiring plug, and is indeed 12v.
I don't use a leisure battery in mine. When on hook-up the 12v system - lights, water pump- is run from a 240 - 12v transformer that provides a power source.
When away from a hook-up I can run the 12v system (which cuts out a couple of the lights) by using a wander lead to connect the female 12S lead on the caravan drawbar to teh car battery via crocodile clips (the car doesn't have a 12S male socket).
