Hey guys, i have an issue i just cant seem to fathom out. I have a damp patch on the front sofa/bed cushion on a 2001 sterling eccles. run a damp meter over the roof, walls, floors, window, and nothing, no damp/leaks anywhere i can see or feel,no runs down the wall, no condensation running down that i can tell, but i seem to have a reoccurring patch on the sofa/bed section.. any ideas?
If you mean the damp is on underside of cushion then that will be condensation. Leave cushions standing on edge if caravan is not being used for a fair while.
We had a damp front cushion and back bed and kitchen worktop could not understand it at all then when it was raining horizontaly noticed them all wet again even though windows fully closed somehow it managed to get in on 3 windows as if there was a vent round the windows and because the rain was horizontal it got in no horizontal rain since and all dry. I hope you find your problem

If you can get a hose or a watering can,and starting at the bottom of your windows slowly bring the hose/can up to the top with some one on the inside looking for leaks.
Check around the roof vent. I had a similiar issue. It drove me mad until i lent on the roof one day near to the front edge of the vent and this opened up a gap between the roof and the mastic. I resealed and had no leak since. Visually it all looked ok until i leant on the roof.
Hope this helps.
