With regard to revealing windows, I did all of mine this year on my 24 year old Swift Conqueror.
I reused the rubber trim and fittings, simply cleaned off the old 'dry' mastic and replaced with fresh mastic on a roll.
I used the 32mm mastic, it's a fairly easy job, just a bit fiddly when fitting back the rubber trim in the corners of the windows.
Using a broom handle to prop the window wide open! Unscrew the fittings on the frame (marking lightly with a pencil on the wallboard where they should go back for guidance when refitting.
Set to work removing the 1001 staples from the rubber trim (Stanley knife and little hooked pliers helped with this) and un-peel the rubber trim.
Scrape off the old mastic with a blunt butter knife, then give it a good wipe, and also hoover off the dry stuff round the window frame.
Roll out the mastic trim around the frame, ensuring it overlaps inside and out, with slightly more on the outer side of the frame, only then peeling off the paper backing (experience of mastic sticking to itself!)
When refitting the rubber trim, bend it inside out so as you roll it onto the frame you can control fitting it, although this is the fiddly bit when fitting it into the corners.
You may find that when it's all replaced, you have some overlap on the rubber trim (due to the 'thicker' fresh mastic replacing the worn out thinner or crumbly old mastic) I just trimmed this.
When screwing back in the fittings onto the rubber, it was sometimes easier to screw in one, then close the window and fasten and adjust the other fittings (again experience of screwing them all in and not being able to fasten the window on the second catch!)
