Hi ,advice needed.can anyone tell me how to remove overhead lockers from coachman pastiche.I have removed all visible screws,but they still will not move .Need to remove one side to enable fiffing of new wall board due to damp

Caravan are built from inside out, ie interior is fitted to floor then walls added so it is possible some screws holding lockers might have been put in from the outside. Difficult to advise without seeing it but you may be able to slide a hacksaw blade in & cut through them.

message by screen2 is correct. I have just attempted the same to investigate damp and resulted in partially damaging the cupboard and wall. in my case wall damage is not to serious.
Once all obvious screws and brackets were removed cupboard still secure. caravan structure consists of 'wood lattice' filled with polystyrene and covered internally with plywood. Imagine the wood lattice covered with plywood internally. Bottom edge of cupboard shelf(in my case)had a few screws screwed into it from the outside through the lattice and plywood. Other edges of the cupboard also had many staples punched through from the outside. The net result of all this is that I had to carefully get levers between wall and cupboard edges and forcibly lever off wall. As wall is thin plywood with polystyrene behind it is almost impossible not to cause some damage to wall.

I'd like to know, will it be the same for the 'Genius' caravan?

We went to pay our storage fees and check the van.

We had a leak early last year through the front roof rail so, got it off and resealed.

Thought that was it... No, the shelf above the front window has now swelled and has gone 'mushy'.

So I guess it's time for a major repair job.

So is it the same principal for removing the front shelf - lever and cut with a hacksaw blade??

This is the tool you need to cut through the hidden screws.
It has an oscillating flat blade that will sit flush against the wall and slide under the edge of the cupboard and cut the screw neatly.

Thanks for your help ,it seems a ridiculous way to build a caravan .They obviously do not consider how you are supposed to repair them when they start leaking all over the place .

You are not supposed to repair them.
You are supposed to buy a new one.
