Sounds a bit of a dumb question, but where is the best place to source the timber to do a damp repair on my van?

I know you're going to say 'any' DIY place, but after going to B&Q today , I'm in NO hurry to back there!

I've managed to clear a space in the big shed at work last week, so hope to get the van home from storage and make a start.......

B&Q, Wickes if you dont have a smaller timber merchants.

You can buy them in bundle at B&Q though so the price may not be far off if you need to travel.

When I did a similar project a few years back I used Treated roof tile batten, its rough sawn, its pressure treated and worked well for framing out. I recovered in white covered hard board. Most of it was put together with one of the "sticks like sh##" type of glues. Depend how much you want to spend, there's lots of specialist stuff out there. Try a builders merchant for the batten.

Just saying
If all is not lost where is it then?
