Our caravan is a bit chilly in winter when sleeping against the outer walls if the knees/back come into contact with the seat back boards. We found some 0.9mm polystyrene sheets that will fit perfectly between the internal wall and the board that you tuck the curtains behind (don't know what they're called but they're behind the dining/sleeping area cushion backs). I think it's a great idea to sandwich the polystyrene sheets between them as extra insulation against the cold, but my other half is a bit wary and said it might cause damp - before I crack on with this, does anyone know if it might cause a damp problem?
The boards are there to allow ventilation between the bed and the walls, to prevent condensation from the walls making the bedding and the cushions from getting damp. So I would not put anything behind them.

For a licence dated 1997 or later you must add together the plated max weight of the caravan and trailer, if the total is 3500 or less you can tow it. You may even tow a caravan with a MAM greater than the cars unladen mass the restriction was removed in 2013
I to have had this problem when winter caravaning and my caravan is dry.
i found that for the first few nights away when your caravan is cold and not yet warmed up condensation from body heat can form on your bedding where you are touching the caravan walls.
two solutions that have worked is to leave the back cushions in place when you make the bed, or put the insulation material on the outside of the backrest panel where the cushions would have been.
This leaves the air gap clear, after 2 or 3 days when structure of the caravan has fully warmed up this kind of problem stops
