We have only a trickle of water coming from the bathroom tap in our 2003 Bailey Padgent.
I think I have tried to read too much now and I've confused myself if it is microswitched, pressure switch or if the diaphram thingy is playing up. Absolutely no idea any more. Its over in staorage so I can't have a quick look either :-(.
The Kitchen tap is absolutely fine, loads of pressure there.
Help please, I'm not even sure what make of taps I've got now.....
Try and have ago at cleaning the filters in the tap, End of the nozzle screws off,Then you will see the filters.Other than that, maybe the pump isnt up for the job?
------------- Roughing it in style at Calloose caravan and camping holiday park nr St Ives.(seasonal pitch)
Its not a hangover, its wine flu!
Thanks guys.
Are there separate pumps for each tap then, as said kitchen is brilliant.
Just trying to look at all avenues for the next time I visit the van.
Filters sounds like a good call I didn't know there even was any.
Morning Duffnut.
Yes, if other tap/taps have normal pressure then the problem lies with your slow tap.One pump serves all the same taps. Almost certainly the sprinkler/filter is partially blocked, this is screwed on to the tap nozzle and is easily screwed off and cleaned ( should have two flats on nozzle to enable a spanner to remove. Do NOT overtighten on replacement. Good luck.
It could also be an air lock.Drain the system and refill opening one tap at a time.Start with the one thats got the problem if its a cold tap do that one first then the other cold taps.
Now bleed the hot tap remembering that the water tank has to fill first before the water will come through. Now do the other hot water taps one at a time.
I have a 2015 Bailey Pegasus GT65. On first outing after winter the tap in the kitchen was dribbling. Toilet and shower were OK.
Patrick (the boss) at Lee Davey Caravans Harrietsham advised me to look in the tap rose. I unscrewed it and found blocked by crystals. I had used a product that is a powder that you mix into the water. (Not going to name it).
Took rose apart (be careful to note order of filters and seal). Washed out crystals. Result perfect!

Don’t use solid sterilising products – use liquid.

My tap was the same, unscrewed the end, I actually used a toothpick & pushed through all the holes, was surprised how much better it was.. :) try the cheap and easy methods first.. Good luck
