Just returned from a great trip in Keswick unfortunately a problem developed with the Truma blown air heating (s3002) about half way through the trip the fan started to slow down when the fire warmed up this happened on the manual and “A” setting also returning to normal use when cooled down. No mechanical sound when hot so not catching on the casing, the thing is can this be fixed easily, the caravan is still under warranty but the dealer is 200 miles away. Any ideas.

It sounds to me like the fan bearing is dry and seizes when it gets hot. If it's under warranty I thought any Swift dealer could do it for you, (in theory anyway) is there one near you that you could ask?

Isn't that what it is supposed to do when the thermostat cuts in?
If there is nothing in the handbook then why not give the dealer a ring?

The fan should continue to run even if the heater thermostat cuts in Dave1. They run on separate supplies, heater is 230 volt AC & fan runs off 12 volt DC.

When I had my Coachman, the fan would slow down when the set temperature was reached and speed up when it dropped.
I assumed that both the heater element and the fan were thermostatically controlled.
Either way, if it is under warranty then a call to the dealer is the answer.

I agree with Daves1, unless a suitable accredited person does the work you may well invalidate your warranty.
