I've just had my caravan in for leaking windows which are now sorted and a cracked shower tray. (caravan been 10yr old) Caravan has a 12 month warranty but they won't replace the cracked shower tray. Apparently this has happened due to hitting a pot hole which has caused a board between shower and a cupboard to bow and hit the shower tray. I have been advised to claim off the insurance company.
Has anybody else had this problem with pot holes. Just wondering what I should do. I've an excess of £100 to pay.

or a caravan breakers for a second hand replacement.
If too expensive you could always take the tray out and seal with an acrylic sealant from both sides to seal the crack and then spray with something like plasti-kote.
Hi. a few months ago i repaired my badly cracked shower tray with a product i found on Amazon called Shower tray/base repair paint made by Fasinating Finishes. Weve used the van afew times since then and its fine. It costs about £30. Follow intructions in packet. We do have a thick soft carpet in the shower tray to protect it when shower not in use. Cheers Mick.
I replaced our cracked shower tray with one from e-bay. I made sure that the floor underneath was perfectly flat and sound over the entire area, so the tray sat fully on the floor without flexing. That way the floor takes the weight, not the tray. End of problem. The tray was a good price and well made and a lot cheaper than other repairs already mentioned here.
