Hi
I have taken the plunge and got myself a tourer. Although in the cold light of day now thinking I don't know anything about it.

Is anyone local to Newport Pagnell, bucks that can pop by for some advice at any time?

I am having a self refurb done at the moment.

It's a swift rapide 450 GLX

Any help please??
Regards
Steve

Advice after you buy a van can be a bit late. Best to get advice before you buy it. However what's done is done and I'm nowhere near you!

Don't get me wrong I love the van and looking forward to getting away. It's more the preparation, I have booked a service for the end of June, so it's the in between bits.....what do I need, break away cable, stabiliser and then simple things like electricity advice, charging from the house, car when on the move...all basic stuff really

The Caravan Manual by Haynes will tell you all the basics from Halfords or your local library will get it for you

Hi

Newbie again!!

I have nearly completed the interior refurb.

I wondered about a quick self test of equipment before service in the 25th. I wanted to test re-wiring of spots, lighting, pumps, fridge etc. I also wanted to trickle some charge into the battery.

I wanted to put the van to the mains to try. What do I need to do? Hook up lead, mains converter and switch to van on the control panel?

Thanks
