We have just collected our brand new lunar cosmos. Upon getting it a site, we had problems winding down 1 of the corner steadies. This morning the van isn't level and the steady we had problems with seems to have pushed up into the caravan floor. We are on a level hard standing pitch.
We've 6 years experience and never encountered this before.
Anyone got any advice, van cost £18500.
Thank you.

Phone your dealer straight away and tell him whats happened, they will be a doubt in his mind that you have done the damage so best to get your oar in first.
Some muppet before you bought it has put the leg down to tight.
You say the van is not level yet you are on a level pitch, do you mean it is rocking due to the level not being secure?
I think you may have a problem with the dealer as they could blame you as you cannot prove it was ok before collection.
Someone must know what's happened to it,perhaps its been left down when it has been moved around at the dealers.
I would not be posting on here I would be on the dealers doorstep.
Thank you for your comments. We've taken photos and contacted the dealer.
It was so hard to wind that 1 leg down, but didn't think there was a problem. The van is rocking and hubby can't wind the leg as it goes up into floor rather than down.
Hopefully it gets sorted before the next trip.

Having repaired my own corner legs i can not see how it winds into the floor rather than down to the ground.
the only way it can wind into the floor is if you use the corner steadies to jack up the van to get it level.
Caravan floors are a sandwich of ply and foam.
If i am right new caravan.floors dont have any wood in them and are made of a thin sheet of fiberglass top and bottom with a foam inner section
There is obviously something wrong with your floor before you bought the van,but before talking to the dealer i would read the hand book very carefully under the section of corner steadies.
