Hi
washed caravan while i was away this time. I used washing up liquid to remove black marks from under windows.
Do you think i will need to replace polish? If so, which polish should i use?
Yes I would re polish after using a detergent, any decent car wax will suffice, I picked up a I litre 500+ 500 free of Car Plan Triple Wax for £3 in Morrisons while at Weymouth, up here it's £4 for a 500 bottle. I like Auto Glym but it's a bit pricey, the Triple wax seems OK easy on and easy to polish off
Hi, I use showroom shine, its not cheap costs about £24 for a couple of litres, I buy via internet, a case of spray it on and polish off. having put a coat on once any of those black streaks just wipe away with just a little showroom shine on a cloth.
Washing up liquid is an excellent degrease and polish remover, never wash your car or caravan with it unless you are going to re- apply a good wax polish .
Any good car wax will do the job
I use Mer on my van. Give it a coat in March and give it a coat late September. Innetween times van vets washed after every trip with I think it's called Fenwick. Got it from my local caravan dealer.
I use fenwicks step 1 and step2 which is bobby dazzler absolutely brilliant after apllying bobby dazzler with a presureised spray bottle leaves a buitifull shine and coating
