Hi
I have a eldis slipstream 2000xl owned for a few months and going out for the first time in Saturday.
This afternoon I plugged in the main at home checked everthing works heater, water pump fridge etc.
Thought I would let it charge a while then it tripped the electics in my house.
After clicking the switch in my garage everything came back on apart from my caravan..
All 12v stuff works fine but the 240v lights don't work and the battery is not charging, I have changed the fuse in the plug and pulled everything apart in the van looking for fuses, trips etc and found 2 fuses and one on/off button to the zig thing. Checked and pressed them with no joy.
You should have an RCD in your van you can identify it as it will have a button marked test, this one may have tripped,f it won't reset then it is possible the hookup lead has a fault.

You are right, found rcd in bathroom wardrobe?
Flicked the switch and it works.
Thanks for that😀

Hi, the RCD should be within a couple of metres of where the 240v hook up connects to caravan in maybe a bunk or wardrobe.
Make sure you change your lead, this happened to me and it was caused by the lead being faulty. I always take a spare after being stuck with no lecce at midnight in the snow
