I posted earlier to say one of seats in van was wet but now we have gone in and cupboard overhead is wet and my hubby thinks trim has come away from van in one part as it is pouring now and we need to stop water anyone know of a quick fix for today
We have managed to put some sealant in trim and are hoping it will be ok my hubby thinks the whole of the trim at top needs taking off re sealing and new screws butbwe are worried rail will snap as it is an old van anyone have any idea how much it would cost for someone to do it?
I have a similar concern on an old van we had, i purchased a 2.7m x 35mm Flat Aluminum floor trim just in case. The old trim came off ok, slightly bent, but went back on ok after sealing and new stainless steal screws.
I cut away the old sealant carefully.

Good Bye To Our Abbey Spectrum 520, Hello To Our Elddis Crusader Cyclone
Thanks for the info I think we will try to seal every inch of trim before we go away and look into replacing with new sealant and screws when we get back as my hubby thinks it is quite brittle. Not sure how much a professional would charge to do the job?
