I have been having a problem again with my Thetford c250 toilet which I am sure many others have the same problem too

After have had a good look I find that under the sticker
there is a circuit board with the push button that makes the toilet flush, on the edge of this circuit board there is a push on connector that is badly corroded, I would like to replace this connector but it looks like Thetford want to sell the complete wiring loom rather than just the push on connector

has anyone else replaced just the plug??

I suggest it may be worth taking the board to maplins and see if they sell a mating connector

When I've spoken to Thetford they don't sell the plug so have always had to change the whole wiring looms. Always the option of looking in places like Maplins to see if they sell one that you could use, but I've always gone for the full new loom.

Beaten to it by Birdnan101.

If you cannot get a connector, i would be inclined to solder wires direct onto board with small soldering iron.

Hi Leedsruss, have replaced this part myself after mine corroded. common fault I'm told.
It cost about £17 I think for the circuit board.
sorry I cant tell where I got it at the moment, (reading this after looking for campsites at 10 to 1 in the morning.)
Take care lifting that sticker up, as you'll need it to go back, unless you want spend a small fortune on it.
Will try to get back to you tomorrow. Steve

After messing around for hours trying to fix this
I decide to bypass the board and wire the pump direct to the switch on the PCB and it works great, I've put the plastic cover back on and just looks the same as before. feeling more confident it will last longer, but
the only down side is the toilet full light won't work, but I am sure I can manage without that

In all our years of caravanning i have never thought a light necessary, just look down with flap open.As you say all that is needed is a pump switch, they do like to over complicate things.

Dear Leedruss - I know this is an old post but I think I need to replace the cable connector on the wiring loom for my Thetford toilet. You mentioned that Bradtech sell the,. Will they understand what I mean if I was to ask for a connector for a Thetford toilet? Or do they have a part number for the item?
