Is it a manual or electronic igniter?
A Manual igniter is where you manually push a round red button in which springs back out on return and electronic ignition is a red rocker switch which when you flick it to the 'ON' position it constantly clicks till the fridge pilot light has ignited.

The clicking is the spark which lights the gas.

If the switch lights up red, then you have a supply and need to check the igniter board. If it doesn't light up then you are missing the 12V supply and need to fix this first.

The igniter board is located either on top of the fridge or at the back of the fridge usually under a black plastic cover. Do not touch the board or any of the wires while the igniter is turned on as the HT supply is typically 25,000 volts and will give you a nasty jolt. Don't tinker if you have a pacemaker just in case.

Check the wiring for corrosion or loose/damaged wires.

Pay particular attention to the earth lead from the board to the body of the fridge which gets corroded and the small electrode at the burner end of the HT lead which goes to the gas burner. Clean and check then remove your fingers to a safe distance and try the switch again. The ignition boards are pretty reliable and can be replaced for about £60. It's usually just corrosion and muck preventing a good spark which you can hear when it is working. Good luck

Have you got a fully charged leisure battery connected up?
If you haven't then this is likely to be the problem as the igniter requires a source of power to operate.
If there is a fully charged leisure battery connected up then there is a possibility that the lighter module has malfunctioned which is a box with 3 terminals located above the rocker switch behind the panel. I had to replace mine on my previous caravan about 8 years ago which cost around £30.
