Hi, we have a Thetford N112 fridge in our 2007 swift caravan. The fridge is not cooling properly. We have changed the element and also the thermostat but still no better. It is cooling a little as fresh orange juice was chilled a little but defiantly not how chilled it used to be. any ideas On what the problem could be and how to fix this. Thanks in advance.

Have you checked the door seal is making contact with the frame of the fridge.

Is the problem only when yoyt running it on electric.

Have you checked that there is nothing blocking the vents.

There's nothing blocking the vents. We have changed the freezer compartment door and that's fine. And the fridge door shuts normal. Sealed. No error code showing on the display either. And it will run on gas but not electric. Have not tried 12v

Hate to say this but you might have to take it out again and turn it upside down for an hour or so to circulate the gasses again..

Sorry just read about circulating the gasses. I'm will to try anything can't afford a new fridge , but as we are on a season pitch was just thinking of maybe a household fridge in the awning. Don't know if it would work though

Household fridge in the awning should work. I've seen this before.
I have an electric cool box that I take in the summer at it works brilliant it is quite big and is used for chilling 2ltr bottles of juice and bottles of beer. It also plugs into the power socket in the car and is handy for keeping food chilled till we get to the site.
