Hi our thetford fridge does not work on 12vt when connected to the car. Have checked voltage from car it is 14.25vt from car with engine running. Have checked all fuses with multi meter. Any ideas gratefully received.

The engine has to be revving a bit higher than tick-over to get the on-board relay to switch power over to the fridge supply, and it is only meant to maintain an already cold fridge. Hope this helps.

As stated it will not feel cold inside. To check if it is working tow it for half hour then stop and feel pipes in freezer compartment, they should feel distinctly cold.
