Just noticed the grey flat trim strip is coming away from a couple of window frame corners. It doesn't seem to want to stretch back in very easily. Is there a remedy?
Very easy to put right for free,
The tape usualy shrinks by about half an inch in the sun and pulls out on the bottom corners.
Remover the two screws that hold the side closer bracket
cut through the tape at the top screw level
Not as shown in the picture (cut higher about screw leval)
pull out the tape and re-fit.
replace the window closer bracket
and thats it done app 15 mins per corner.
the last picture should have been showen first????
Brilliant idea, ours has done the same, Swift won't do it under warranty as it's not a seal apparently, ( not worth the paper written on ) so I'll do it this way, thanks for the tip

I've just done some of mine. I think the original was stretched when being fitted. It then relaxes and because it's held by the screws, it pulls out of the corners.
It must be a fairly common problem, I remember some older previous caravans always seemed to suffer from it, but I thought that more modern units would be free from it.
