Last weekend i was fitting new awning rail insert which looks good but noticed that the alloy roof sheet has dips in it from age and in places has formed gaps around the skylights. How much wouldit cost to have 4 skylights removed and re-sealed properly.Cant be mobile this needs to be in a indoor workshop job.I have no idea of cost.

I sealed my skylight by cleaning out gap between rubber seal & roof & then running a bead of PU sealnt around inside gaps. You can do that yourself or pay commercial rates to anybody to do the same. £50/hr+vat.
Theres no point in removing skylights, a repair as described is just as effective. If they were removed one risks causing damage to surrounding area & also breaking skylight as plastic becomes brittle with age. Unless roof is so damp skylight has to be removed then if it ain't broke don't fix it, just do the minimumum remedial work as described.
Put a ladder against side of caravan well padded with old towel & sort of spread yourself out on the roof to reach skylight. Roof is fairly strong but spread the load a bit. Choose morning of a dry, warmish day, open skylight & clean under rubber seal with plenty of meths & rag. Then run bead of sealant pushing cartridge nozzle under rubber so rubber pushes back down onto sealant.
Leave skylight open while drying to avoid sticking hatch to roof. Sealant skins over in a hour & should be pretty dry after about 4hrs. Don't do in freezing weather but anything over 10deg is ok.
