Can anyone tell me how to remove the cover to change the lip seal on the C250 holding tank, I can see 2 arrow marks which I assume are lock and unlock but it seems tight to turn.

unfortunately this video is for the C200 cassette which has screws on the outside. the 250 looks to be a rotate mechanism. Thanks info

Get some gloves on, open the blade and twist till the arrow lines up with the unlock. Some can be really stiff and awkward to rotate but that's the way to do it.

Thanks, did try to turn it but felt too tight, was afraid to go to hard before I knew that was correct.

Try spraying the ring with some silicone spray, let it seep in and it should help it release.

Half slide the plate open so you can use it as a lever,Now use force to open the top it will turn.But am sure that you can just pull the seal out and replace without having to take the top off,Just try a pull out the seal first.

When I did mine it was stuck fast, in trying to move it I broke the plastic guide on one side that the plate slips in/out on it was so tight. There is nothing else holding it in, just sticksion, that's why I suggested the silicone spray or even olive oil if you don't have any to hand.

Hi Bill, yes all sorted. Just a bit tight, easy job once plate is out. Retaining screws are on the inside on this cassette.
