Hi all, i have a 1985 dreamliner motorhome only just purchased it and have discovered the traumatic heater doesn't work, after a bit of research I found the battery box missing so I've replaced this but still no ignition? There is no red or green lights on the fire just what I think is a light on the battery box that does not light up. There is a separate switch which works the electric fan behind the fire. There is a water heater with red and green lights and this works fine not sure if this is connected in any way to the heater? Any ideas on how to get the heater working ? Any info will help !total novice when it comes to lighting these things :)

Turn the gas control switch round to a middle number, then pres and hold the gas control switch down. It should click regularly and then eventually fire, hold it down for a short time afterwards and then release the switch.

For a licence dated 1997 or later you must add together the plated max weight of the caravan and trailer, if the total is 3500 or less you can tow it. You may even tow a caravan with a MAM greater than the cars unladen mass the restriction was removed in 2013
