Hi,I was wondering if it's possible in some way to smarten up the front of my caravan as it has stone chips etc and is just generally looking a little "tired" compared to the rest of the van.I don't know if it is possible to paint caravan bodywork or "T cut" it. If I can get it done I will buy a front towing cover for the future. Thanks, Mark.

The oxidation on the GRP gelcoat is probably causing a generally dull, almost matt appearance. You can try polishing with a car polish but results are often less than perfect and may not last long. On our 2009 Compass I used Farecla G3, a compound used extensively to polish boats and other fibreglass vehicles.
A word of warning though, only use on the GRP panel, not the painted aluminium as the paint is too thin. It can be applied by hand (OK if you don't mind a bit of elbow grease) or machine, but the results are outstanding and long lasting.
