decided to remove my gas heater from my 96 avondale as it didnt work properly and ive switched to electric.
but i now have a copper pipe with a female fitting on the end i need to seal so i can use the cooker. any ideas if i can buy a plug. i see it comes from a 4way splitter under the van so could swap to a three way splitter and get rid of the pipe.

can anyone suggest anything?

If you want to remove pipe from van just take out of splitter and plug it, which you would get from any plumbing supplies.

Any caravan accessory shop will carry gas spares & will have plug to blank off splitter.

They do vary with different manufacturers and age of caravan.Best thing to do is to disconnect gas bottle and undo the pipe you want to remove and take it with you when purchasing the blanking plug.

having hunted high and low locally ive had no luck getting one. plumb centres said no. diy stores are too big and 3 big local caravan spares places said thwey either dont do gas fittings or dont do what i want .
its found out the thread is 1/4bsp and found this online

http://www.camperlands.co.uk/blanking-end-cap-1-4-5-16.html
but that says 1/4 and 5/16 so im confused.
