bmy carver motor mover gives a loud knocking noise when used. Nothing seems loose,is it a bearing and if so are they available and where?

I would ring the contact - as above - they are very helpful. I have used them in the past and they sorted me out over the phone, have a pen and paper ready just in case and tell them what, if anything, you have already checked.
