Somebody else might clarify, but I think if you get your van serviced elsewhere then you need some warranty work done , you need to take it to a Lunar Dealership.If you havent had it serviced with them they can get a bit "awkward"

The only dealer who is obligated to do any warranty work is the one who sold you the van, not to say that any other dealer will not.
I moved from Worcestershire to Lancashire and used an NCC approved workshop who serviced my van but did not have the facilities to do any warranty work. No problem, just rang the manufacturer who told me of the nearest dealer/repairer to me who would do the work. Booked it in and warranty repairs carried out.
Different dealer, most likely, but I too had my van serviced last week and paid an extra £20 for a roof wash. Needless to say I was given a refund for the complete lack of wash given to the roof. Wasn't happy, I agree OP, it's all about trust.
