I've just noticed a very small area of damp under the middle front window of out Fleetwood Rhapsody. It looks as though the window seal is to blame.

I'm look for advise on how best to fix this; either remove the original seal and replace with a new one or put new sealant or mastic on the frame and refit the existing seal. Second option is considerably cheaper. I'm tempted to do all three from windows at the same time and the cost soon mounts up.

Thanks in advance for any advice.

Bob

i reused my seals. unless you can see that they have perished or noticeably lost their shape due to compression then they will be fine.

Id refit using sealant not mastic on a roll. I have done both and it was a much easier job with a sealant gun due to the tape not wanting to go around corners

Thanks for the quick replies. I think I'll start by re-using the existing seals as I can get this done quickly. I then keep an eye on it and replace the seal if it continues to be a problem.

Thanks again,

Bob
