I have a portable 3 way fridge. It only about a year old and works fine on 240v & 12v electric. Unfortunately it wont work at all on gas - it wont even ignite. Can anyone help please

Firstly, make sure the caravan is precisely level both ways as some fridges can be a bit temperamental on gas operation and it can take a while for the air in the pipe to be expelled.
Basics: Is there gas in the cylinder and is it turned on at the regulator?
When you say "Ignite" do you mean no spark or gas not catching fire ?.It may have a battery or i would change the regulator? Need more info and a reply.
Sure you are following the instructions?
Make and model?
Normally hold down the gas button and push the igniter a few times. Keep holding down gas button - some heat at vent if lit. Slowly release gas button and off it should go - but models vary.

There also needs to be a fully charged leisure battery installed as well (and switched on for power) as this is the source of the igniter. I couldn't ignite my fridge on one occasion all because I realised afterwards that I simply forgot to switch the power on. Usually it's something simple but as Jeff said, unless the OP replies with further information no more help can be offered.
I suspect the op is talking about a 3 way camping fridge
If he is I had the same trouble & the supplied instructions were the problem. You need to turn the gas regulator knob fully on past the big flame icon.& press it down & press the Igniter button repeatedly until the pilot flame catches & continue to hold down the regulator knob for 1 min. The only way to tell if it has lit is to feel for heat rising from the vent
Maybe the OP is referring to a camping fridge but unless they respond and confirm this then there is little point in continuing with just guess work. The whole point in asking a question on a forum is to get replies hopefully with a solution but it looks like the thread has reached the buffer zone!
