Looking for a wee bit of advice. Currently in my caravan fusebox is a 40a RCBO and then a 10a and a 6a MCB.
Is it possible to upgrade the 10a and the 6a to possibly a 15a and a 10a MCB's. The reason is that the caravan can handle the fridge, the kettle and a cool box on but as soon as you try to put another item on the mcb trips.
Now anyone that has been away caravaning with 5 females/kids they need power than that lol
Now mind im still new to this caravaning so be gentle with me qith your responses lol

Thanks for that folks.
Looks like ill just have to limit the stuff we take with us that needs plugged in lol
Probably the best option, keep an eye on the amount connected at once, no need to boil the kettle at the same time that the hair dryer is on.
Look at lower wattage appliances too, a lower wattage kettle will take a little longer to boil the water and a lower wattage hair dryer longer on the hair but both will get the job done (eventually).
The MCBs in your van are there to protect the circuit wiring in the van so if the cables aren't rated for a higher load you shouldn't upgrade the breakers. Also, your breakers being smaller than the 16A MCB (or lower on some sites) in the service pillar mean that if you overload the 10A MCB in the van it shouldn't trip the MCB in the pillar meaning a trip outside to reset.
