Hi the toilet flush was not working so by passed it with a 9v battery worked fine my question is can I change it to a manual flush as nobody seems to know what is wrong with it
I wouldn't have thought it was possible to change.
Where did you apply the 9 volts to , after the fuse or before it? I assume that you have checked that the fuse at the rear of the compartment hasn't blown and that the contacts are clean.

9v battery after the fuse and yes it is also on electric just nothing at all just thought a manual pump would simplify if it can be done also checked fuses fuse holder
If the pump works then surely it has got to be something simple! A detached wire perhaps? How about running a wire direct from the positive side of the battery to the fuse at the back of the compartment. If that works then there has to be a break in the wiring somewhere or is there another fuse in the main box? Can only suggest trying to trace the wire back (Teaching you to suck eggs me thinks! )

If you change to a manual, don't be too robust in flushing, there is a lug at the bottom of the pump that is too fragile for the job in my opinion,if that breaks, you lose all vacuum,I tried to repair mine but had to buy a new one, when removing the old one, there's sealant around the top,so it needs prising off.
