Sorry guys I'm after picking your brains again. I have read through various threads on here and tried whats been suggested but still no luck. My Thetford c2 won't flush I press and nothing happens I've changed the glass fuse, changed the water pump and still nothing. My gut feeling is I'm getting no power to the pump the cables to the original pump are discoloured. If I touch the ends with a multimeter I get nothing. Hope someone can help.

If u remove the middle cap on the toilet switch / flush there is a small screw down a long hole if u undo then u will be able to drop the rod off the bottom where the toilet tray goes in under there is the micro switch u need to get a multi meter out and test the switch u need 4 hands and Ime serious one to hold meter one to prod one to hold mechanics it's a fiddly job but the switches fail the other way is if u like a bodge lol wire the pump direct to a 9v battery and a pilot switch this guy does it on here watch https://youtu.be/9EBPWQqlc5k

I can hear a click. I've just been out and connected pump to 9v battery and it works like the YouTube vid usher4566 suggested. So I know that it's not getting power to the pump. Thanks Jeff juke for the parts list. It's supposed to be a 3a fuse, I took out a 2.5 240v fuse so just replaced it like for like as the old one had blown. I'll now order correct fuse. Fingers crossed

It is the glass type thank you Usher. I'm going to attempt to take the whole thing out tomorrow so I can get to all the components and test everything. Not sure how it comes out but I'll work it out. Wish me luck.

All working guys thank you all so much. It was the oxidised (black) cables not allowing a good connection. Googled how to remove it and it suggested soaking them in salt & vinegar (acid) to remove the oxide then into a water and bicarb solution (alkaline) to prevent oxide returning. It took about an hour of soaking and swilling in the acid to remove the black, but once it was back to copper got a good connection. It's all put back together now and have a full working flush. I'm pretty clued up on the workings of a Thetford c2 now as I've had just about every part of it out, suppose, every cloud etc. I've tried to be as detailed as I can and hope this can help someone in the future.
