hi all have just purchased a caravan for me and the wife to stop in whilst we are in the middle of swapping homes .. have discoverd today that the van will no longer lock from the outside ..
im wanting to know what other ways i can lock the van from outside without causing a problem that could allow water to enter ,was thinking of adding just a hok and eye lock type of thing but dont want to have to make to much mess t6o do this,has anybody else had similar problems and if so how did you solve them

Caravan door locks are fairly standard & easy to replace. They can be removed from inside the door. Take out lock & take to any large caravan shop to match up replacement. It will be your easiest way of resolving this.

i dont think its the lock itself as i take it of and it works fine ,,i think the door frame must be warped a little as it wont let me lock and remove the key when its fitted ...seems the locking hole doesnt line up properly with the lock itself ..looking at it from the inside
