I have just bought a 5 year old Dorema awning and annex which was only used a few times before being stored under a bed for a few years.
Due to the storage, there is a rectangle of the roof that is discoloured but the rest of the panels are pristine.
I want to clean this area and have triad just water which isn't cutting it. I have read about various cleaners from Isabella and Fenwicks which state they are ok for acrylic but I'm unsure about reproofing.
Does acrylic need reproofing at all or will these product damage to water proofing and if so what's best to reproof acrylic?
Any advice much appreciated

Thanks Jeff for your reply. I've read that too but what I'm concerned about is using a cleaning agent on the material and damaging the water proofing qualities of acrylic.

As well is two words!
How does a sage know everything about everything? or does he? or does he just think he does?
Remember, if you buy something you bought it, not brought it.
I spoke to Dorema yesterday and they advised that cleaning with Fenwicks awning cleaner was safe and after use fandom aerosol space on the area cleaned would do the job without damaging the fabric.
Thanks to those who replied. I'm going tackle the job over the weekend.
