We are thinking of changing our swift challenger in the near future and have been looking at the Bailey Rimini and Cadiz. Whilst doing a bit of research, the reviews for this two baileys are pretty worrying. There are pages of complaints regarding water leaks but no positive comments. We are looking at a 2015/16. Is there any one out there who is actually happy with their Bailey and what should we look out for.
Any suggestions on alternative fixed twin caravans welcome.

We've had our Cadiz from new in June 2013 and used it extensively since then. We have it serviced and checked over each year and have had only minor problems which have been fixed by the dealer. We have had no water leaks. The van tows well. We find it comfortable. Hope this is of use to you. I think the dealer is important - I would check them out just as closely as the van. Moor

We are on our 5th Bailey in about 20 years, none have had water leaks.
We had a Pegasus from 2010 to 2014,it was fine
.Now have Unicorn which is will be 3 in March. It was fine on last service and dampcheck.
We have had minor issues put right by our dealer.
Trouble is folk who have issues will(rightly )make it known-whereas the satisfied owners do not always say anything!
There does seem to be inconsistent quality in the industry.

I said I would never have a Bailey - heard all those stories about water leaks . . .

A couple of months ago we traded our much-loved Lunar for a brand new Bailey Pegasus Remini. Absolutely love it! Yes it is early days and maybe we will have problems in the future, but right now we're so pleased we made the change.

The new layout is wonderful and it makes so much sense to put all the heavy stuff in the middle of the van (fridge opposite cooker, gas bottles near sink, battery box in locker under floor). As a result, no problem getting the noseweight right and it towed like a dream.

I know you said 2015/6 model, but the 2017 Rimini appears to be identical to the 2016 . . .

Once you have found a layout and design which suits you, I reckon the most important thing is buying from a dealer you trust, so that if problems do arise you have a chance of getting them fixed with relatively little angst.

If you want positive I will say that decor and design are beautiful . The interior I think is very eye catching . That's where it ends for me . We have in July part exchanged our 4 year old Bailey rimini . From day one and Every year it went in for repairs . Water ingress not damp but wet puddles . Put right every time . Plus a list of other smaller problems , I was so worried and stressed that last April we said it is going . But don't worry Bailey,s are very good at putting things right and no problems with repairs .i just couldn't stand it any longer . We are now the proud owners of a swift conqueror 480 . No problems as yet and a dream to tow . My favourite van is coachman 520 . But it would have been too heavy for our car . But I love this swift . Good luck what ever you do.
