Afternoon all. I need to replace the windows seals on our Swift Azzura but I'm confused by the question of bubble/bulb size. The current seals have long since seen better days, as they've all shrunk.perished, and getting a measurement off them would be unreliable. Looking through the seal suppliers websites they seem to come in 10 or 13mm sizes. Would getting a 10mm seal as well as a 13mm would or would getting a 13mm stop the window from closing all together? Cant find and online info on this so would anyone have an ideas?
Seals Plus Direct used to be able to match up old seals and supply new ones, I'm not sure if they still do this but it might be worth giving them a call.
I contacted them mentioning bubble size I measured the van wall thickness and they sent me three samples about three inches long. Opened a window took out a couple of inches of trim, took out a few staples and lifted one end of the old rubber and matched up with the samples which they had put the part numbers on. I needed 22 meter`s, It came as a full roll of 20 meter`s plus a two meter piece.
