Can anybody please help me I have a truma fire in my caravan,works great on electric but trying to ignite on gas can hear clicking but not ignighting.changed battery for new one turned control to hear nothing twiddle battery then clicking but not ignite please does anyone know thank you.

If you are sure that gas is getting to the burner it's probably little bits of rust that tend to fall down and block the gas jet.

I read that you have a new battery but you haven't stated exactly what sort of battery. Have you got a fully charged leisure battery installed as one will be required for the power source. The same applies to the fridge if you ignite it on gas too.

Sorry Jonny, I misread your original post, I mistook it for a fridge not working on gas.

The clicking noise is the igniter sparking. It sounds like a gas supply problem to me.
