Hope someone here might help.
We have just purchased a 2005 lunar
the water works on the on board tank but when we try to pump water using the external pump from aqua roll it does not pump the water
We have tested the pump and that works
We changed the fuse for water
it seems like there is no power in the socket where you plug pump in
how do we test the socket?
Any other ideas would be appreciated,

Simple basic voltmeter or a car bulb. Connect 2 wires to the bulb and connect to the socket. Bulb lights then power is there.

If not check for a switch and a fuse.

We have found the socket at the back is not wired up,
so now we can get it sorted

Hold on a minute Stocky !
My socket is not wired up and it works perfectly well.
Are you sure you need an external pump? My water system only has an onboard pump and in effect sucks the water from the Aquaroll. If you are trying to attach an external pump as well as using the onboard one you will be blocking inlet tube and stopping the onboard pump from working.
You probably only need a suitable hose fitting to go into the Aquaroll. You could try removing the external pump from the hose and see if that works.

Although this method of testing will work for the socket in question, in general it is better to test with a modern digital multimeter which can be had quite cheaply. If a 12v lamp is used elsewhere to test faulty circuits there is a risk of damage to electronics (especially if used to test your towcar electrics).
