Hi, my Dometic CTW 4050 electric flush toilet is no longer flushing, the other indicators like the cassette needs emptying light are, the fuse is alright , any suggestions would be appreciated.

Hello and welcome to the forum.
First of all is the flush still making a noise, ie still trying to pump?.If it is , probably crud in the pipework or pump.
Sounds daft but does it still have a water supply?.
If none of those might be a burned out pump, or inline fuse perhaps.
Good luck.
Regards,
Greg
Hi thanks for your reply, tried fuse (ok) there is water and the pump is not activating, so I am also suspecting a pump issue, but i need to find out how to gain access to that area,

Hi,
If you are like me I always imagine the worst and miss the obvious.
Could the 12v pump switch not be turned on?.Master switch on?.
I have seen some of these switches find a dead spot although they look like they are switched to the on position.
Good luck.

Greg
Hi mokkaboy.
I just came across your post.
I am away in France and exactly the same thing has happened to my identical toilet. All my symptoms are the same as yours ie panel is working and fuse ok. We're using a water bottle to slosh the loo out.
Did you get it fixed if so what did it need is it something I can do myself. I don't have a full tool kit here so won't be able to remove the whole toilet out etc etc. Not back in UK until end of June so I'm a bit cross!
Hi there, sorry to hear of your delema whilst away in Europe, well it resulted in it being a burnt out pump, not bad for a 2015 van !
(Not)
To apply a repair needs the whole toilet being pulled out, by a fitter that cost approx £60, the procedure for this is very fiddly and the parts are extremely fragile so be careful, we had to do the same as you with a watering can until fixed !
Hi Mark,
My email to dometic resulted in the same, waste of time !
May I change the subject and ask if you can recommend any sites in France for Caravan touring,
Mokkaboy
I can recommend quite a few... I'm sure if you look at my profile you will see my posts.
It's a big country ....where are you looking at.
I'm currently in the sunny Lot et Garonne region. There are so many beautiful places here on the rivers etc.
Have a look at the tourist boards website it is in English if you click on it.
I'm in France until end of May then off to the Alicante area of Spain for 1 month then the 3 day tow back home to UK.
