We will be visiting our first fully serviced pitch (c&cc site at keswick) in 2 weeks time. What is the normal way to connect your caravan waste outlet (ribbed 28mm plastic pipe) into the waste water facility ? Do I need to connnect the caravan waste pipe to a length of hose in order to be able to reach the site connection ? Any advice would be helpful.

Graham.

Most serviced pitches have a drain in the ground that you just take your waste pipe to, no actual connection.  You will need to hold the end of your pipe in place with a heavy stone, or tie it to the grating . Some gratings have a hole that you can push the end of your pipe into. 5 metres of hose should be plenty.  If you have 2 outlets on your van use a Y-piece to connect them to the long pipe.
