Hi, everyone.
I am new so please have patience..:-)

I have a problem with the RM4271. Not working on either mains or 12v.
Checked.
1. All fuses.
2) I have metered all connectors for voltage in fridge. Both 240 and 12V, all are present and correct at the terminals.
The switches light up too.
3) I have the cct diagrams and note that the 12 volt and mains have seperate heaters.
The unit works on Gas all ok. I know the 12 volt cct for Gas is slightly different for 12V element.

Is it possible, but unusual that both electric heaters have failed...if so is it worth trying to source them and replace.
Many thanks all.
Happy travels.
Cheers Steve.

In what way have you checked they are not working? If you are just checking empty fridge then it will not feel cold. Feel pipes or plate inside ice compartment. Should feel distinctly cold after half hrs drive or half hr plugged in.

It is possible both elements have failed. Yes they are available & reasonably easy diy if you can take fridge out. If you are paying to get job done then might be more viable to have new fridge fitted.
