soo i dont know if im being stupid but i cant figure out the following
the monte carlo 3000 oven will not ignite it self where do i start to look to fix it ive had the oven out and looked at it the wiring from what i assume is an igniter unit is there but the igniter does not work when you push the knob in
the IDM3 alarm system appears not to work(at all) there isnt a charger with it either should there be as there is a socket on the front of the pannel
the 12v system appears not to be charging the battery well not properly it stays in the yellow band on the gauge and says low voltage all the time i assume this is why the toilet flush is intermitent and the water pressure is poor
i havnt got a clue what any of the switches really need to be on on the 12v control unit one says heater/on the other says car/van and the last say int pump/ ext pump i have figured the switch needs to be on van when its on mains hook up and how to turn the water pump on to internal but thats about it really
i also do not have a copy of the owners hand book so if someone has a copy for on of same or similar year i would appreciate thats greatly as they have the wiring digrams etc in dont they?
I had same problem with battery on my lunar. Found out it was charger that was broke. Now I take a trickle charger to keep it topped up. It could be a fuse or need a new battery..Re charge it, and try it again
As for the alarm, these resemble domestic alarms, in that the control unit contains a back up battery. these have a life of about 5-7 years and are supposed to be kept charged rather than allowed to go flat and be re-charged, as this shortens the life.
IDM units are usually pop rivetted together, so it is necessary to drill these out, to establish the model of the battery, which is likely to be a Yuasa. You can order these on line for a few quid, then re rivet the unit. Quite a straightforward job really.
The meter staying the yellow after a long period of charging suggests the leisure battery is shot too I'm afraid. Change this and some of your other problems may be resolved as well.
The car/van switch allows use of the car battery if still hooked up
Int/Ext pump tells you you should have an onboard pump, possibly a submersible in an onboard tank. Ext is for the Aquaroll submersible, when the supply is from outside.
Manual for your oven is as per the link Oven
I agree it looks like you have an issue with the battery or the charger unit or both this link may help re battery care Battery
You can download Abbey handbooks from 2000 onwards as your van is 1995 your best bet of obtaining a manual is by using forums such as these and hoping someone can help.
