Hi
We have just bought a swift conqueror 645 lux 2007 and seem to be having a few problems. Can't seem to sort the heating probs so thought I would concentrate now on the water lol, we would like to use the on board water tank, we have read the manuals and managed to fill the tank. When we change the settings on the panel and the isolator tap to open, then turn the taps on we can hear the pump, water does run but the pressure is very very low, any ideas why this may be? Thankyou for any help 😀
Low battery voltage possibly. Check battery with an independent voltmeter to see what it reads as it should be around 12.7 volts minimum for the pump to operate efficiently.
Hi
We are on electric and the van gauge say the battery is full, the lights are fine and the aqua roll pump works fine too, I'll have to get a volt metre to check it other than that. Thanks for the reply.
Have you bled the water system of air?
You may have an air lock
Start at the tap furthest from the pump, turn it on until there is no air coming out and repeat the process for any other taps, internal / external and include the boiler
My van is later than yours, so I am not familiar with your onboard pump, but if it is similar, there is a filter on the outlet side of the pump. This can catch odd small bits of leaves and twigs that might have got in the Aquaroll, so check it out.
You wouldn't think a submersible pump in the AR could ingest such bits, but it does. I found a lump of sealant in mine!
