So I have just changed out the leisure battery on our 1995 abbey gts 416 this fixed a lot of issues where by things were not working. Any way it turns out the 12 volt side of the power supply as soon as you switch it on at the top of the unit with the orange rocker switch trips breaker number 3 on the front of the unit I've had a good look around all of the 12 stuff works it's just when you turn on the 12v switch at the top of the unit it's not charging the battery..... any ideas where to look

sounds like the charger is kaput possible short in one of the windings or rectifier has burned out if so only cure is replacement

It deffinatly is I've cover off and can see it spark at same time unit trips any idea what is the best replacement to use I notice there only a live and neutral to supply the board and a +ve and -vw out of it so winring is nice and simple

You could try a caravan breakers or many replacements are available on eBay failing that as a short term cure you could use a battery charger attached directly to leisure battery
