Is there anybody who can shed some light on motor mover problems? We have Emove EM 203 movers fitted which have suddenly stopped working. A green light is flashing on the base unit which then goes off, green light is constantly on, on the handset. There is no faults, battery is fully charged and connections are good. Have tried rebooting and reprogramming handset to control unit but still they fail to work. Currently on a campsite so tools etc are non existent.. any ideas?
There is an in line fuse in the main power lead from the battery which is ok. The control unit is sealed and as they are under warranty, I don't want to remove the top when you power the unit on the green light flashes for around 20 seconds and then goes out so gather it has power going to it. They have a 2 year warranty still so will be going back but we are on a site and returning home tomorrow and with have great difficulty manouvering on to our drive without movers so was hoping for quick fix before we headed for home.
It may be that the electronic control unit and the remote have lost synchronisation. The instructions tell you to press the reset button on the base unit, then simultaneously press the forward and reverse buttons for about three seconds. You should then get a beep and full synchronisation. Just a thought.
------------- The Sun always shines on TV.(and not on my caravan!)
Green LED (Fig. 5H) is blinking, no buzzer: no communication between handset and control unit. This could be because of too much distance between remote control handset and control unit, or the battery isolation switch for manoeuvring system is not turned on or that there is a distortion signal disturbing the
communication. As soon as connection is good again the green LED will be continue on and the system is
ready to use.
Thanks all, we have exhausted all options and on speaking to the helpline it looks as if the unit has failed. Thankfully under warranty but means we will be without it for a bit, could make manouvering it back on the driveway very interesting!!
