Have recently been on site with our caravan and found the gas pressure is much lower than before. Checked gas bottle, it is over half full. There is very little gas getting through to the hob and the fridge light is flashing, indicating low gas? Checked all valves are open (which they are). After re-opening the brass valve above the truma regulator there is a lot of back pressure which I have never noticed before. All things point to the regulator failing, possibly bunged up, or could it be something else? What can I do to sort it out, thanks in advance...
It does sound like a faulty regulator. Is the regulator on the bottle or is it a bulkhead mounted regulator? Big difference in price. Before changing regulator check hosepipe hasn't split.
Hi all, It's the Truma Bulkhead fitting, with a strong black pipe from the top of the gas bottle. The pipe is pretty much new. I think I'll purchase a new Truma regulator from advice given, thanks.
