I was tidying our caravan ready for sale and I noticed that the flush water tank had turned a creamy yellow colour. To clean it up I've used Jif, soap, white spirit even T Cut and nothing touches it. We've had the van 7 years and it's never happened before.
Has this happened to anyone before? If so, how do you remove it?
Just flush tank out best you can with plain water & then use plain water in flush tank. It is using a flush tank additive that has caused this so use plain water in future. Works for me. When I got my caravan the flush tank had loads of gunge in it but it's gradually all come out.

So is it the white cistern that the plastic has now turned yellow?
------------- XVI yes?
As well is two words!
How does a sage know everything about everything? or does he? or does he just think he does?
Remember, if you buy something you bought it, not brought it.
Thanks for the replies, having re-read my post I should have made it clear, the yellowing is on the outside of the cistern. It wouldn't be so bad if all the cistern was discoloured but it's just the top half which now looks a mess next to the white toilet seat.
