Hi I have a leak in the hot water pipe and it needs cutting out and a new insert putting in (behind the shower! Ahhh!). Does anyone know what size the water pipes are in a 2004 Sterling Vitesse 520 please? it could be a small job I can do myself.
Many thanks

Thanks very much. I'll pop down today. I was trying to get out of having to cut a bit off and take it. It may be 12mm but may be imperial. I'll get some inserts too.
I think the pipe itself has split as the joints are ok but its behind the shower and leaks through to the wheel arch. I'm new to this and bought the caravan end of last summer and first trip out it leaked badly. I did drain it last year.

Your dealer will know what you want, it will be hot water semi rigid pipe 12mm with John Guest fittings for the connections. When you cut the pipe make the cut as square as you can.

Thanks Geoff. I've been down today and bought 2 pieces of pipe and the fittings and miracle... no leaks so far. I used a proper pipe cutter for a square edge as you suggest. There is rather a lot of spare pipe coiling under the seat cavity. All in all it probably cost about £12 which is a lot cheaper than getting a bloke out too. Thanks for all your help and advice. Feel like planning a new escapade now.
Kind regards
Annie
